Sophie Amiach is a perfectionist. Every aspect of our trip was thought through. There was a trip handbook that was very helpful for restaurants, tourist attractions, museums etc. There were detailed instructions about how to get to RG and the security measures around ticketing. There is no other event that has your name on your ticket, so her attention to details on this issue was key.
From the moment we stepped off of the plane, we were in good hands. A car and driver met us in baggage and took us to the hotel. Sophie called on the way to make sure we had arrived. The Driver handed us the phone and she was “welcoming” us to Paris. It only got better from that point on. Our hotel was amazing, the daily coffee and pastries for tea were a nice treat. The lobby was luxurious and the room with a terrance - was a nice touch. Having a garden in Paris is a luxury and ours was spectacular.
Each day at Roland Garros was amazing our seats were spot on. – I am as “seat snob” so is Sophie, we always had great views and amazingly easy entry into each venue. Center Court – Chatrier was as intimate a place to watch tennis, Suzanne Lenglen was also amazing. On the days we did not attend tennis, we were tourists, off to Versailles and Sophie had a car service waiting for us, this is key as it makes the adventure easy when your transportation is organized for you.
Our best day, and totally worth the adventure was a special lunch organized by Sophie on site at RG. The venue is a transformed terrace on the grounds, it is strictly VIP and not only do you feel VIP with Sophie, we were treated to one of our best meals of the trip.
During our trip Sophie was a commentator for the Television stations carrying the French Open, She is clearly a French Tennis Celebrity and was on the grounds most days. This was fun to be a part of and a special “gem” of the experience.
All in all – it was a simple task – tell her your dates, let her know what you want to do on your trip and she takes care of the rest of the details.
Also note that Sophie keeps her cell phone on and contacts you to make sure you are ok.

Let me express how wonderful my Paris trip was with Wanna - was a birthday present for me (The Roland Garros experience). Travel was the best. I have been fortunate to have had many extraordinary experiences but nothing like the exciting excursion planned by your company. The hotel, transportation, food and wine plus the ambiance was an "artist's" paradise. Thank you Sophie for being a friend of Wanna's. Get ready to book the next trip!

I was fortunate again to join Sophie's French Travel Specialists Trip in 2016. Having been on a prior Paris & French Open trip in 2005, I knew the quality and class to expect. I even convinced two friends, one from Denver and one from Toronto to join me this time. We were NOT disappointed. Expectations were exceeded the entire time. Our accommodations were 5 Star! we did NOT want to check out the day of our departure! Sophie customized our trip for us, getting us great tickets in the 2nd week so we got to see Men's Semi's, as well as the Women's Final. Amazing seats and fun times despite record rain and floods that week. We are all seasoned travelers and so we made our own dinner reservations but we had complete access to Sophie at all times for advice and input. I look forward to traveling with French Travel Specialists again, next time adding a customized visit to Southern France with fine dining, accommodations, vineyard visits and sightseeing Sophie's beloved country.
Merci Sophie!

I’ve had the pleasure traveling with Sophie twice to Paris and the French Open. Her French background and professional tennis career, combine to make her a wonderful guide. She organizes the time extremely well and the accommodations are well located. She has a wonderful sense of the city of Paris, the sights and restaurants. A tennis clinic was offered at her private club, not far from the French Open site. This was a wonderful opportunity for both me and my teenage kids. Best of all, is her experience around Roland Garros. As a former player, she is familiar with all aspects of professional tennis. It is a treat to share this Paris experience in her company. I look forward to traveling with Sophie again.
Much thanks!
